Personal Narrative

Whew!  

Writing does not come easy to me!  

Thankfully, this is meant to be a really rough draft.  

I feel like there is so much I can say about this day.  

It happened over 20 years ago, but I remember it vividly.  

The odd thing is, I had a dream about an earthquake last night (it's something I never dream about).  So choosing this as my topic came easy.  

Was I afraid in my dream?  Nope!  

Was I wearing roller skates??  Nope!!

The Mommy Life

For Writing Workshop this week I was asked to jot down a list of ideas for writing topics and then pick one for a 10 minute "free write."  As much as I wanted to share my Guinea pigs' adventures (haha), or write about rocks (yes, I really did put "rocks" on my list), I decided to go with "The Mommy Life."  That's something I have a little bit of experience in.  ;)

Here are my two pages.  I considered making it all about poop stories, but went with this instead:

Welcome to my blog, created for my Master's in Teaching (Elementary Education) degree!  I am at WSU in Vancouver, WA... well, not really.  I'm at home, going to class via Zoom, but I'm told it counts. 😉  If you are reading this, we are probably in class together! 

Feel free to comment on any post --I welcome feedback!  I absolutely LOVE reading books, but have never considered myself a writer.  So please forgive my unrefined writing posts... I am forever a work in progress.
